Under the direction of Monsignor Len Morand, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Saskatoon together with our First Nations and Métis Catholic community came together in 1984 in the basement of what was then St Paul's Cathedral to form Our Lady of Guadalupe.
As our faith community grew in size the need for our own space became apparent and in 1987 the house on Avenue J South was purchased and became known as Guadalupe House. Over the years our community grew and in 2007 Our Lady of Guadalupe became a Parish. Today we have an estimated 225 families and about 500 Parishioners.
Today as we continue to grew as a community we are actively seeking a church building that we can call our own, to be able to better support the needs of our Parishioners, and to offer a place of welcome for those who do not feel welcomed elsewhere.
